Jamie is a New York–based content producer and social media strategist, passionate about mental health and human rights advocacy. Originally from Burlington, Vermont, Jamie moved to New York City to pursue a career in entertainment and video production. Since earning his degree in Communications and Creative Media from Marymount Manhattan College, Jamie has worked on TV & film productions ranging from talk shows (The Rachael Ray Show) to reality series (VH1’s I Love the 2000s, Mob Wives, Love & Hip Hop: Hollywood), to documentary series (CNN’s ‘Death Row Stories’, Amazon Studio’s ‘The New Yorker Presents’) and more.

Over the last 10+ years, Jamie has managed social media content strategies from development to distribution—including engagement and community management—for a number of brands and organizations, such as: One Mind (Mental Health Non-Profit), Google, YouTube, NowThis News, A+E Networks, Lifetime, HISTORY Channel, National Geographic, NBC, Bravo, Paramount+, DreamWorks, Ancestry.com, Samsung, BET+ and STARZ. His work at NowThis earned nominations for the 2019 Shorty Awards and The Webby Awards in 2022.

With a passion for storytelling and human rights advocacy, Jamie strives to use video as a tool for social change. Jamie has created a wide range of content, from vlog-style videos to educational docu-series, for nonprofit organizations like One MindThe Pride Network and Outright International (formerly the International Gay and Lesbian Human Rights Commission). While working at NowThis News, Jamie produced profile pieces spotlighting LGBTQ+ content creators, in addition to creating interactive and engaging social media content for Pride Month and other diversity heritage months.

Jamie currently resides in Queens, New York, with his husband and their two cats, Bao and Tux. He spends his free time doing yoga, planning murder mystery parties, explaining ‘orange wine’ to friends, listening to jazz, and continuously thinking of witty ways to end his bios…
